Chapter 19 Wretched

Jonathan rushed to the ward. When Rose saw him, she immediately got out of bed and ran toward him.

Clinging onto him, she complained, "I thought I was going to die. I don't get why I was so unlucky that I would get dragged down by that wretched Mr. Finch."

Jonathan was bewildered.

Wretched?

He frowned.

Rose did not notice his reaction.

She continued angrily, "If I die, I'll turn into a ghost and haunt him every night! He won't be able to get any sleep at all!"

Finley, who had just arrived at the door, was thunderstruck when he saw the position they were in.
