After preparing dinner for herself and Dylan an hour ago, Madison was now looking at the clock. She had been staring at the Italian dishes on the dining table for so long while she waited for him to arrive that they had become cold. Candlelight cast shadows that highlighted the vacant chair that was directly across from Madison.

"Already it's seven o'clock. Where are you at this moment?" As Madison sulked and laid her head down on the table in exasperation, she asked the question. She grumbled, almost as if she wished Dylan to hear that he was being an annoyance to her "You said you'll come over... You have given me reason to believe that we will see you here tonight..."

Dylan called Madison yesterday and informed her that he would be going directly to the flat later that evening. Due to the fact that he had been so preoccupied as of late, he had not been seen in the flat for the past two days. Madison was fully aware that the love of her life was weighed down by an excessive number o
