Blind date

Mom woke me up early even though it was still lunchtime when I had to meet her friend’s son, it was obvious that she was even more excited than me. Dad didn't say anything about it at all, he didn't want to interfere with Mom's wishes and I understand.

"Hurry up and we'll go to the salon, you can't just go there looking like that." She hurried to me to sit down to eat.

Even though I wanted to disagree, I just closed my mouth tightly and started eating, a little bit nervous because I didn't want to embarrass my mother in her friend. After all, I also expect that the blind date is going to work out.
