Chapter 112 Self-Conscious of His Age

The elevator reached Lana's floor. She was nearly startled by a dark figure at the entrance before she even saw her door.

"Are you a human or a ghost?"

Lana's voice activated the light in the hallway. She finally saw the person waiting at the door.

"Mr. Liam?" she furrowed her brows.

"Why are you here? Has the banquet ended?" she asked.

It wasn't 10:00 pm yet. This time should be the peak of the banquet.

There was no way Liam could possibly be here.

Liam struggled to move his gaze away from her chest.

He had come in such a hurry that he didn't know how to answer Lana's question.

"Supper—" An idea flashed through his mind. "You still owe me a meal."

"What?" Liam had to be the stingiest man she met despite being the richest man in Gilsbury.

While Lana had promised to treat him to a meal as a way of thanking him, she had never specified that it was tonight.

Looking at her slightly disdainful expression, Liam asked, "Was it all just an act?"

"How could I dare, Mr. Liam!"
