Chapter 42 Lavish Generosity

Lana rolled her eyes and said, "Do you think Business Administration is ordinary? Do you know how many people dream of studying it but never get the chance?

"If it weren't for your excellent event planning for the new store, I wouldn't have allowed you to pursue this."

Kelvin appeared to grasp what she said and asked, "So, am I just part of this package deal?"

Visibly frustrated, Lana replied, "If you don't get it, then forget it."

Billy, known for his quick wit, noticed Lana's frustration. He realized that Kelvin had been in a challenging situation, too. Without hesitation, he affectionately patted Kelvin on the head.

Billy moved to comfort him. "Boss only agreed because your family has been in business for generations. Otherwise, she wouldn't have bothered."

"At last, someone who understands!" Lana exclaimed.

Although Kelvin had dropped out of school and spent time with Billy and Luke, he came from a well-off family. They were part of a small local business elite in Gilsbury.
