Chapter 9 The Grand Opening

Liam's face darkened as Violet hung up on him.

"Let's go home!"

Chris was puzzled and asked, "Isn't your nephew almost done for? Does he want to see you for the last time?"

Liam gazed out the window and uttered, "He's not dying."

"Huh? Is it even a choice? Let's go home then." Chris scratched his head and started the car. Soon, the car passed by the trio and the lady.

Chris shook his head as he watched them laughing and chatting.

"That lady has no self-respect at all. They almost robbed her of her belongings and dignity this morning, and now she's friends with them!

"Carol is the best. She’s pretty, and her personality is definitely one of a kind. You’ve definitely scored with her."

Chris used to think that no woman would be worthy of Liam, who was the perfect man. But that was before he met Carol. He believed that the two were a great match!
