Romana successfully sent the divorce papers to both sides. Laila and Vincent didn't know that she was the one who's behind it.

"Laila ... Vincent sent you something."

Laila took the envelope from Tristan's hand. Her hands were trembling as she opened the thing.

"D-Divorce paper ...'" she stuttered.

"H-He didn't even ask my situation and how's the baby after he hurts me? I-Is this more important than our lives?"

She wept again because of her bitterness. She thought of her lost baby again.

"Stop it... Let the one above punish people like them," Tristan irritably sounded.

Although what happened to Laila was tragic, in Tristan's mind it was better that it took place. At least she was freed from a useless marriage. She got rid of a man who valued sex and money more.

Laila took her pen from the front of her table and then signed the document. She was tired of chasing the man who did nothing but hurt her.
