Chapter 64

"I'm here!" Lalaine was wearing a broad smile when she returned home.

No one responded so her smile vanished.

"Where did that old woman go?"

She inspected the kitchen but Romana wasn't there.

"Sissy Romana?" She proceeded up to Romana's space on the second floor to look for her there but no one answered so she turned the knob of the door.

It's unlocked. She entered freely.

"Sissy Romana?" Still, she didn't get any answer. No one else is there.

"Where is she?" She was about to leave the room but the sound of the running water from the lavatory stopped her.

"Are you there, Sissy Romana?" The woman didn't talk back. Forcedly, she knocked on the restroom door but there was still no response.

Something was not right so she pushed the door even without the woman's authorization.

Lalaine's eyes enlarged when she saw Romana unconscious on the floor of the shower room. Her face is pale and cold. The woman was unclothed and maybe fell while taking a bath.
