Chapter 11: A Sacrificial Lamb

The more Shane exposed what happened, the more angry Isabel grew. How dare Shane talk so much. He even made it sound as if she was the one who pushed Hilton over the edge.

The dean listened attentively before he decided he had enough. He didn’t say anything else, but he did tell Isabel to leave the two of them. He also gave her a stern warning to never cause such a scene on campus again. It was unbefitting of her and it was especially rude since she was a first year student. Isabel agreed and left the two of them alone.

The dean had a sad expression as he looked at Shane's face. He signaled to the boy to sit down on the chair opposite his. Shane did exactly what was asked of him. He was still fuming with the way Isabel accused him. What nerve she had.
