Chapter 78 - Aaron

"Is this really necessary?" at the sound of his wife's question, Aaron turned to see her fingering the fabric of the sleep mask that was blindfolding her.

“No spying.” he teased her, couldn't help but laugh when he saw her wrinkle her nose, but still move her hands away from the mask.

“I could just close my eyes, you know...”

“I don't trust you not to get carried away by curiosity. Besides, I already said, where we're going is a surprise. Where would the fun be if you took the risk of seeing something?” he questioned her, not resisting the urge to take his hand off the steering wheel for a moment and poke the cheek it had puffed out.

"Very good. What do you think adds to the fun and gives me a clue as to where we're going?" Rose crossed her arms, clearly suspicious.

“See? That's why I asked Grandma to borrow one of her sleeping masks for us. You couldn't stop yourself from peeking in while we were on the way.”
