I wished it could be simpler, but taking Charlotte on a so-called date seemed to be the best option. This dumb bitch turned out to be dangerous; I could see it in her eyes. Charlotte knew a lot about me; she knew things I didn't want Red to know. Perhaps I was afraid that if Red found out why I'm known as the Bloody Tyrion, she'd look at me differently... It was beyond my ability to comprehend why I cared about Red's opinion so much. What others said or thought about me had never bothered me before, but Red was the one I wanted, and I couldn't let anything scare her away from me. Not that I thought that she was too weak to handle it, but I didn't want to take any chances. I couldn't let Charlotte talk in Red's presence.

Of course, I could make Charlotte submit by force, but with her insane determination, I would rather kill her before making her shut up, and killing an alpha's daughter wouldn't look too good, especially before the annual meeting. I'd acte
