Pathetic

30 Minutes Later

Blake POV

I had just gotten out of the bathroom, water still dripping from my body, which was clad in a white towel. Just then I heard a text notification from the receiving room. I had left my phone in my coat's pocket.

Taking quick strides into the living area, I swooped up my phone wiping my right hand against the towel before opening the text. It was from Stella, it read;

★Has the witch done anything to you yet?★

★I am bored here, Blake. All I do is train all day. I miss playing pranks on you (crying emoji, Halo emoji)★

★Sir Louis is out on business...again★

★Mom hasn't been making her muffins as much as she used to, i think she misses you but is too proud to admit it★

It read, Stella sharing her random thoughts, that had always been a habit of hers since they were children. She was a really extroverted and outspoken individual, the direct opposite of me. I wonder how we got along in the first place.

I smiled and proceeded to reply to her texts. Unanticipatedly, I heard a beep sound as the door swung open releasing a woman with very dark full, disheveled hair a person couldn't ignore even if they wanted to.

I hadn't even had time to process what was happening before she yelled, seemingly to the open air,"Alicia, please tell me you have a fucking bobby pin!."

"Stop right there!" I charged at her stopping her from going any further into the room.

She halted looking stunned, looking like she was just noticing my entire existence in this room. She turned her head in my direction, looked me over and wore a very creepy smile.

I had blushed a bit realising I was practically half naked. Not minding that, I proceeded to do my job.

I grabbed both of her hands easily, leading them to her back, "How did you get in here?", I asked. Alicia had said not to let anyone into the room, how did this lady manage to get into the room with a keycard? Alicia didn't tell him they were expecting any visitors, the card must have been stolen.

She frowned a bit, dissatisfied with my questioning. Unexpectedly, she had skillfully yanked her hands free, almost sending me flying across the room.

Such Strength!.

I was beyond appalled by such a show of strength, judging on how easily I grabbed her I could never tell she possessed such strength. It was a feat that not many could achieve. If she was so powerful why didn't she show any resistance when I attempted to subdue her? Was she just testing my strength?

She cast one last disdainful look on me then ignored my presence. Quickly rummaging through Alicia's stuff, basically treating me as air.

In a blink of an eye, she drew out a bunch of really small, dark rod like objects, holding on to a fistful.

"You don't dare answer my questions?" I had gained my balance from her push just before. I arch towards her, a bit more cautious and prepared than my last attack.

This time she didn't even spare me a glance. She raised her unoccupied hands up to shoulder level and simply waved, sending a huge gust of wind towards my direction. That sent me flying to the extreme of the opposite wall, leaving a huge dent, literally breaking all the objects at that end of the room.

She immediately turned to exit the room, leaving me with just one word, "Pathetic." She said and walked out the room gently closing the door behind her like it was some delicate object.

How Ironic!

She had just thrown a full grown man across the room mercilessly, having zero regrets but was being benign to an inanimate object.

"F*ck!" I yelled in pain as I dragged myself up,"She got away!"

"Arrrgh!" My back ached, while I tried standing upright, my spine's vertebrae slowly found their way back in position with slightly audible sounds, as I tried walking towards the couch.

I had underestimated her and was suffering severely for it. From what had just occurred I could deduce that she wasn't just any vampire but a really high leveled one. She looked really young, about my age group if I observed correctly, even for vampires having such Strength was unreal.

I laid down on the couch face flat, and tried waiting the pain out. Although I didn't get to see how my back looked like I could tell it was swollen, one of the disadvantages of a human body. If I was a vampire, I would still hurt but the pain would have left at a much quicker pace.

Sigh~

I'm still not strong enough.

"Pathetic?",She could even tell with one encounter. I needed to step up my game after getting cured.

Beep!

That cursed sound reminded me of my lost battle. Alicia strolled in casually, humming to a really catchy tune, she seemed to be in a really good mood. Stunned, she stopped in her tracks as she observed the room.

"What the f*ck happened here?" She half yelled hurrying towards my side.

"Ugh, She came…" I managed to say through all the aching all over my body.

"What? Who came?" She questioned my abstract reply.

I simply pointed to her traveling bags.

"You couldn't stop a simple lug snatcher (aka thief) and you call yourself a bodyguard. Dad had really done it this time, letting a completely useless man leech on me!" Alicia jeered, her words filled with sarcasm.

I felt a bit hurt, but it was true I really was useless in that situation. I was basically mulled over with one move,"She had arrived with a keycard. Does anyone else have access to this sub penthouse?" I asked, trying to find a lead, ignoring her unfiltered remarks.

"She seemed to know you and demanded for a bobby pin? Whatever that is…"

"A bobby pin?" Alicia's eyes lit up.

"Yes"

"I see what's going on here now." She had guilt written all over her face.

"What is it?" I asked, wanted to know whatever conclusion she came up with.

Alicia ignored my question and moved into her room taking her luggages with her. Whatever she had thought of she had deemed me not worthy of knowing.

"Did she even notice how badly I was hurt right now?" I soliloquised. She really was no different from her child like self.

I wasn't going to go down the rabbit hole of self pity thoughts, so I let it go.

Minutes later, she came out with a little clean bucket full of steaming hot water and a small white towel. She knelt before me in a way that I could only see the side of her face, and rolled up her sleeves in preparation for whatever she was about doing.

"W-what are you doing?" I asked flustered

"Stay still." She replied patiently, a blush rose to her cheeks, as she realised I was only clad in a towel.

Alicia put the towel she had squeezing it just enough for it to still drip lots of water when left still.

"Doesn't that hurt?" I asked, concerned.

"You should be more worried about yourself right now, this is more mild compared to the pain you are going to feel seconds from now." She replied dryly.

What was she talking about?

"Ouuuch, F*uck!" I half yelled as my back was greeted with the hot towel. It felt like a thousand needles were pierced directly into my sore spots.

Did she just smile? I could have sworn I saw Alicia smile at my outburst. WTF, was she enjoying this?

She massaged the area thoroughly, soaking the towel in hot water at intervals. I buried my face into the couch only letting out muffled screams.

"You are one of those vampires with really slow recovery aren't you?" She asked mockingly.

Well technically I wasn't a vampire, only a normal person whose ability strangely goes above human limits...maybe because I was raised by my vampire parents.

"Why are you helping me?" I asked with mixed feelings, of both anger and confusion,"Don't you detest me for being an employee from your dad."

She giggled menacingly,"Don't get ahead of yourself, I still pretty much hate you"

"But, I'm kinda at fault for this so it's only fair to help you get rid of the pain."

"...." (Not an emoji)

She took a quick glance at me as if wanting to catch a reaction and I stared back, was she expecting me to say thanks?

"I forgot to tell you this, the woman who came in is my best friend since childhood, Scarlet. From your experience, you can see that she is a bit ...explosive? Always itching for a good duel.

From your state, I can tell you weren't a very good opponent. I'd be surprised if she didn't say a few words of 'encouragement' before she left."

Oh, she did and didn't hold back at all.

"There all done, the pain should be all gone in a few hours

I sat up, flexing my back muscles more.

Her talking had made me momentarily forgot about the pain, though I felt a lot better now

"Mmmhmm." I gesture positively.

"Now go put some clothes on. Do you plan on tying a towel forever." She scowled.

"Of course." I hurried up and excused myself, taking my phone and coat with me as another notification came in.

"Diner is in an hour," She yelled at my fading silhouette.

Alicia's POV

"Stay still you animal, you won't want me to punish you would you?" One saId to his trembling human pet.

"I had a shot of the O group blood yesterday. It felt like I had a charged battery on my tongue only that the positive and negative charge were going in opposite directions."

"And what am I supposed to do with that information?"

"Don't you fucking throw up here, bitch!" Another said tighten the collar of his pet.

"Is anyone gonna talk about what is happening at our borders right now?"

"Oh shut up! You are too fucking boring you political nerd"

"Tsk"

The table was loud.

So fucking loud even Blake looked pissed. Blake...just then i recalled him being shirtless as his perfectly ripped body reacted against my massages. He looked so handsome when he got embarrassed from realising he had only a towel on. Put some cream on those and...

For f*cks sake don't be a creep Alicia! Focus, focus, focus, you have to deal with these assholes first.

Sigh~ it's the same situation every month, that never changes.

"SHUT-THE-FUCK-UP" I whispered in a very cold dealt tone, my eyes showing zero compassion.

The table went pin drop silent almost immediately. The one thing vampires are scared of the most was another stronger vampire. Hierarchy was a huge thing here, and I seemed to be at the top in this situation, so everyone halted whatever they were doing, even pets were frozen cold from fear.

'That's more like it' I thought, a bit satisfied by the results. Everyone present at this table were all under my command and control.

"I thought you were never gonna control, 'your people'" Scarlet scoffed as she tapped her fingernails on the table impatiently, looking a bit displeased.

"Oh come on Scarlet, not Everyone can be as 'upright' as you are." Ian countered in his normal comedic tone.

*Well not everyone.

"*Cough, I had made it compulsory for Everyone to gather here today not because I like eating with losers, no but because I have something very important to discuss" I put them in their places.

"So please don't take this setting, as an opportunity to gossip about your day" I concluded with a really wide smile topping it off."

"Every vampire and other living things present here I like to introduce this young man here as a new member of the musou foundations, Blake, please take care of him!"

"!!!"
