Chapter 14_ New Classmate
Nicolai, in wolf form, howled a long spine-chilling, arrow-piercing howl under the majestic moon as if he was in pain, while Amethyst couldn’t decipher the reason she was sweating and shaking at the event she witnessed.
At first, all she felt was adoration at the wonderful sight she saw moments before Nicolai’s transition from human to wolf. However, when he shape-shifted, a more intense emotion overwhelmed her.

Red flag flickered in Amethyst’s head, bringing her back to her senses like she had been poured a bucket of iced water.
