CHAPTER 19

CHASED

Days unfolds quickly as how the color of the sky changes. I am looking at my phone waiting for my Mom's reply. I miss my friends but I just couldn't face them when I am this weak.

"Are you sure it's just a headache, Wynzlette?"

I remember how Jediah's face worriedly look at me earlier.

"Yes, I already told you, it's nothing. Might be from the scorching heat last Tuesday and yesterday," I politely answered my cousin.

"Aren't you saying anything to us? Did you something happened to you? Why did you suddenly collapse?" he asked again but still, worried.

I exhaled heavily, "I still have my wound on my shoulder and the trainings makes and weather added to it. I just feel exhausted."

He shook his head. "Don't make aunt worry too much, she almost collapse after hearing you're rushed here."

I adjusted my self and face my cousin, "I know that we aren't that close but can you please tell me, is Mom and I..."
