33. Someone about to harm

Elijah's POV

"Keep checking the factory and nearby area...remember that I don't like tardiness and someone who cheats." I said and cut the call instead of waiting for the reply.

"Sir,"

I heard my maid's voice.

"Come in." I said loudly. The door opened revealing a girl who was bowing her head down.

"I….I…" she started to stutter ,making me irritated. I think she is the new girl who was appointed last week. She was 18 or so.

"Will you mind telling me clearly?" I told her sarcastically, "Otherwise get out of here now ." I snapped at her,making her tremble in fear.

She took a deep breath.

"Lunch ready...pl...please...come." she stuttered and literally ran out of my room.

I shook my head and went out of my study.

I reached the dining room to see Ankita ready to eat her lunch. The way she was looking at her food told me how hungry she was already. The childlike innocence on her face and the glow on her face made me fall for her more.
