Chapter 52

A week had passed by, and scuffle upon scuffle had broken out in most of the other groups. Though squad 10 hadn't realized it yet but in the act of causing lots of confusion in the other groups, they had kind of gotten closer.

'Is it lunchtime yet? I'm starving!' Ethan exclaimed as they returned from their marathon race. 

Suzanne groaned. 'I'm just awfully thirsty. Did we really have to run that far? And strapped together too!' she said then wiped off a bead of sweat from her forehead.

Andrew silently passed her a bottle of water. 

'Thanks,' she readily gulped it down.

'You ought to have brought a bottle along, you heard that racing was involved. What were you expecting?' Ryan asked her. 

She walked on ahead, drinking the water. 'Don't be so cold Ryan,' she said as she passed him. 

Andrew glanced at his watch.
