Alexis POV
"Hi dad." When he had summoned me to his office, I had an idea of what he might be curious about."How was school today?" I nodded as I fought the urge to smile. The thought of my mate being in the same school as me had me smiling all day. She unfortunately can not feel the bond between us, or maybe she felt it can and she just couldn't understand what it was."Fine, but kinda frustrating." I confessed. It was a torturous and frustrating day, having watched Owen achieve becoming her friend had me jealous. I should have been the one getting close to her. But then, I feared I might not be able to control Erskine so this had me holding back from wanting to be too close. The enticing scent coming off from her had me drunk, I wanted nothing but to put my nose in her body and sniff her in."Frustrating? Never thought you knew that word son." Dad teased as he stared at me. It was obvious he was concerned."Why am I here?" I asked."What is your opinion of the human girl? Do you think they might harbor some ill intentions? Do I need to send them away or do you still need more time to ascertain what their intentions here is?" I laughed. I had forgotten that I was meant to be investigating Sophia."Her name is Sophia dad, and she is my mate." I announced as there wasn't any reason to keep such good news away from them."What?!" Dad's mouth hung open as he stared at me. "You are serious right?" I nodded confirming to him I wasn't spilling nonsense from my mouth right now. "Oh my! That's awesome news son. That's wow! Does your mother know of this yet?" I shook my head. I hadn't told anyone aside from him and my friends. Not even Ophelia knew of this yet as none of us had talked about it in the car ride back home.Dad looked like he was talking to someone through his mind, and I figured it must be mom. Not long after his daze-like look ended, mom ran over."Is it true? You found her?" She asked her voice filled with emotions."Yes mom, I found her. But she doesn't know of what we are, or of our relationship. She is human mom." My voice shockingly shook in the last part. Her being human wasn't the problem, I was scared of her rejecting me, I was worried I might not be patient enough to court a lady as a human boy would."Oh goddess thank you." Mom knelt crying. I had never seen her go down on her knees in the years I have lived as her son. "Her race doesn't matter. The goddess doesn't make a mistake when she pairs two souls together. I am certain it will work out in the end." Mom gave an assuring smile."I understand their daughter is your mate son, but we have a responsibility to the pack. I will appoint someone to find out if her father is genuinely here for work." I nodded. I understood the security of the pack was topmost. As long as my mate is not endangered, I have no reason to not let him run his investigation."Come out with me and tell me all about her." Mom looked excited as she pulled me out of dad's office and went to their bedroom."I don't want any interruption." Those had been her excuse for bringing me to hers and dad room.***"The poor girl, she might run from you." Mom glared as she sighed. What?! Why would she run from me? I didn't do anything to her... Yet."Why?" I asked as I suddenly felt uncomfortable in my stomach."Because she is a human girl. To her she might see you as a hovering fly around her. And do you know how annoying flies can get?" Me a fly?! What?!"Mom... That was harsh. How can you compare me with a fly?" And I wasn't hovering. We just are always together."I am serious son. Ladies like to be chased but they don't like to feel too chased." Then what do they want? "Ask her out like a gentleman, get her flowers, chocolates, sweet cards, show her you care, that you can be a reliable shoulder for her to lean on. I know Erskine would want to mate with her but hold him back, she might run if she thinks all you want is to be with her sexually." I nodded agreeing with her. From what I can tell about Sophia, she will truly slip off my hands if I allow Erskine to do as it pleases."Flowers, chocolates, and cards." Mom nodded smiling"You can add some thoughtful handwritten notes too." She winked at me grinning."Noted mom. Thank you.""If you are grateful, then be sure to bring her home to me. I am curious about her, and I cannot wait to meet my first daughter." I laughed thinking of Ophelia's expression is she heard mom."I want to bring her home too mom."***Sophia's POV"Dad, can I request to have my classes changed?" The last two days have been torture. Having to attend the same classes as him all year is not something I am looking forward to."You want to do that? Why?" Dad asked as a small frown came on his face."I just don't like the class arrangements." If I continued to attend class with them then I might as well fail the year. Not only can I not concentrate in class, I hate how my body gets goosebumps whenever he entered the room. The obvious whispers of our classmates too, for someone who hates being in the spotlight, I get stared at too much."Was your mom's worry right? Are you being bullied in class?" Dad asked turning to me and giving me his full attention. I knew asking this would have them acting dramatic."No I am not being bullied. My class arrangement just makes concentrating hard. I have days where I have Mathematics just immediately after physics, then I have gym next. My head might as well burst one of these days." I pouted and he laughed."Alright, I will send out the request to have your classes changed. Hopefully it won't affect you academically." Oh dad, that would help me academically but it might hurt me emotionally as I will be seeing less of him."Popcorn is ready guys!!" Mom announced as she came and placed two bowls of popcorn down. It was movie night today and mom had been popping some corns in the kitchen."That smells so good." Dad complimented as he picked some and put it in his mouth causing mom and I to laugh."Have you decided on a movie?" Mom asked me as it was my turn to decide on a movie this week.I grinned and they both looked horrified. "Stop looking like that!" I laughed. "Let us watch The Parent Trap." I grinned. The 1998 classic is one any family should watch together. It is not only funny but very educative."At least you didn't pick cartoon for us to watch." Mom chuckled"Or anime." Dad added as he searched for 'The parent trap.'"Anime's are classic dad." I scoffed. How can anyone not like anime's?!"You are sure nothing is going on in there that you want to talk to me about?" Dad asked again as he glanced towards the school.Chuckling, "Nothing dad, I promise." It is just I panicking because my heart wants to reach out to another, it is no big deal."Alright then dynamite, you go have an amazing day okay." "Okay." I waved before entering the school gate. Today might end up being an awkward one for me. Dad had called the school over the weekend to ask them to change my class schedule as the schedule was too stressful for me to keep up. I am going to pick my new schedule today and this change might not go well with Owen and the others.I scanned the crowd for Skylar's red hair but couldn't find her. 'Is she late today or did she come early?' We normally would meet here every day. Shrugging, I walked into the building and went towards her locker area."... bitch!" I watched as Vivian, one of the ladies who would always glare at me poke Skylar causing her to stagger back. Just ho
Sophia's POV "Sophia hi." Owen greeted us as he joined us at our desk for lunch. "Skylar." Skylar waved at him acknowledging his presence. "Hi Owen." I smiled awkwardly. Earlier when I had a class with them, I had purposely forced myself to not look toward their way as I found myself a new place to sit. "I really want to be upset with you right now, but I can't even bring myself to do that." Owen complained. "I am sorry." I apologized. I know I probably owed them an explanation but I can't even think of a good excuse to tell them. I can't possibly tell him I left because of my unusual crush on his friend.I spent the whole weekend researching and googling about my symptoms, I find it weird to call my feelings love since it had occurred from the very first time I laid eyes on him. "Did we do anything wrong?" Owen asked and I shook my head. They were all kind to me. "Then why did you request for a change in your timetable? If it wasn't us, was it anyone in those classes that made yo
Sophia's POV "So, do you want to hang out with us this weekend?" Owen asked and I shrugged nodding. It won't hurt to meet them outside of school and get to know them better."This weekend? What day are you thinking?" Skylar asked."Tomorrow will be the best, that way we can do our homework and prepare for school on Sunday," Owen replied. Indeed, Saturday will be the best time to just have fun."I can't make it then. My aunt gave birth and I promised to visit her tomorrow." She looked apologetic. 'I guess I will be the only girl there then.' The thought sort of frightened me but at the same time, it was exciting. Being the only female in their midst, they will most likely treat me like a princess. It won't hurt to be spoiled a bit."We won't miss you." Owen told her chuckling. "Oh shut up." Skylar glared at him."What time tomorrow are you thinking?" I asked and he shrugged."I will text you the time and location." I nodded as I tried to calm my giddy heart. Although the other boys
Sophia's POV "Mom, where is dad?" It is the weekend already, and he normally likes waking up early to help with some of the chores around the house. Not seeing him now is a bit strange."He went to the mechanic. His car needs fixing." I nodded before going to help her knead the flour. "So, are you excited for your date today?" Mom questioned and I shrugged. She might have said it is okay to feel what I am feeling, but it still is a bit strange to talk to my mom about liking a boy. "Do you feel unsure of whether you want to go?" She asked again, her voice laced with concern."No mom, I am certain I want to go." I quickly answered before she got the wrong idea."You are excited then." She chuckled as she pulled out the turkey from the oven."I guess." I murmured but I am certain she heard me."Do you now know where you will be meeting them and what time?" I nodded. Owen sent the details last night."I will be meeting them at a bookshop close to school, I should be leaving in an hour or
Sophia's POV He grinned!!! "Come with me. Just trust me alright." That alluring tone of his had me wanting to nod and follow him into the pit of hell. Blinking away the unholy thoughts trying to invade my head, I slowly walked behind him until we got to his car. I hadn't expected him to hold the door open for me."Thank you." Never has anyone, well except my dad of course, held a car door open for me, and him doing this had me blushing. A blush I hope he doesn't notice."Do you like games?" The question was unexpected but I still nodded."You sure like to nod Sophia. Words please." I couldn't be sure whether he was being humored or he is being serious. All I know was I loved the way he called my name. "Yes, I like games." He smiled glancing in my direction. My heart skipped. 'What is he doing to me?' "There is this game center I know of, you can play any type of game you want. Cards, blocks, pinball, video games. My favorite is the arcade games. Do you know how to play?" I chuckle
Sophia's POV "Yes, Yes I will be your girlfriend Alexios Magnus Chester." Saying this felt unreal. I am his girlfriend!!! The guy I like likes me back and he wants to date me!"Oh my God! I can kiss you though right?" I blushed hearing his question. I know I said no sex, but I doubt I would survive if he doesn't kiss me either. His lips have to be one of his best features and I am curious to know what kissing him might feel like. Will it be like in the stories I read, I already feel like there are butterflies in my stomach just from having him look at me. "Just not in public places." I told him. I don't want people to see us doing something so intimate."Too cute." He grinned pinching my cheeks. "So we are dating." I felt like he might start laughing and call it a prank, a joke. But his expression, the sincerity in those eyes could not have been a lie. "Yes Sophia. We are exclusively dating." I grinned at him. "So shall we go bowling now." 'I just have to open my mouth didn't I?'
Sophia's POV "Is there anything I should take note of? Your allergy? What might piss you off? Anything?" Seeing his expression, I swallowed wondering if my question has been too direct. Since he already explained the reason for his earlier act, I should have probably not asked."I have no allergies, you can never do wrong in my eyes Sophia. I hate being deceived or being betrayed. But aside from this, I doubt there is anything else." I nodded taking a sip from my drink. I have so many things I am curious about, but I held myself back from asking more questions, I don't want him thinking I am looking for problems where there is none. Now that he is my boyfriend...Referring to him as such is still weird and leaves a tingling feeling inside of me."Should we still go bowling?" He asked and I shook my head. The time had gone so fast, I should head back home before dad lose his mind."It is almost 2 pm. I think I should go home." He nodded glaring at his wrist."Time truly flies when you
Alexios POV "Hi son." Mom smiled as she walked into my room."Hey mom." I greeted as I stood from my laying position and sat down."So a tiny bird told me your date went well?" She grinned."How dare the tiny bird listen on a future Alpha's affair?" Earlier, I knew there were many werewolves around and they might be listening in on my conversation with Sophia. But I didn't care, she is someone I want to bring before the pack and introduce as their future Luna, as my mate and lover!"You went looking for your friends the minute you came back, and when you finally came home, you hid yourself in here. So I had no choice but to look for the bird for a chit chat. By the way, congratulations." I grinned. The guys voice's had invaded my head as soon as I returned. They kept on asking different questions until I shut them up with the promise that I will go to them . "Thanks mom. Although I still have a very long way before asking her to be my mate and accepting who and what I am." I wasn't d
