Her indication of prey

Far off to the other side if the football field she saw the familiar black coupé of her mother 'saved' she thought, no need to use the bathroom as an excuse.

"Hey, I'll be right back ok?" She said heading over, as she broke through the crowd she downed that second cup and found a dustbin.

Her mother climbed out leaning on the door with a dollar note in hand, Rebecca took it "Only a hundred? Don't be stingy ma"

"Hey! I didn't raise a brat!"

"You didn't..." She wanted to say more but held back.

"Let's hear it?" The door slapped closed and her mother approached her.

"I'm sorry, I, what I meant to say is I know you're rolling in the dough ma, I've seen your bank account numbers" Rebecca said and with an extra gesture kicked the tyre of her Hellcat.

"Don't kick my car"

"I kicked the tire"

"Still my car's tyre!"

Rebecca folded her arms "So?"

The older woman folded her arms the same way.

One side Benson stood waiting, seeing mother and daughter size each other up, both with black duck tail cut hair, almost equally lenghted, Rebecca looked like a cut out of her mother.

"Your cheeks"

Rebecca felt them, the rough slightly peeling skin was obvious and she reached for her Daisy Duke's pockets, but her sun cream wasn't there "I, must have forgotten it in my locker"

Her mother sighed and reached into the car, handing the new tiny jar of the potent sun cream to her with a smirk.

Rebecca didn't like that smile, she opened it "Pink??"

"I thought it would fit you" her mother said laughing.

"Mah! I hate pink!"

"Ok! I bought it without looking at the color I'm sorry" she said and handed her two more notes "There, three hundred, you happy?"

Rebecca smiled "Thanks mom"

"Any time, so let see?" She said pointing at the tin of cream.

Rebecca sighed and dipped her finger, like a cricket player she made two thick lines of warpaint right under her eyes on the peaks of her cheeks "There" she said blushing, she new her mother didn't accidentally buy the pink cream, she did it because she thought it would fit her, and truth is, Rebecca would do anything for her stubborn mother, even wear pink sun tan cream.

"You look, kinda female football league now" her mother said giggling.

"Does it look okay atleast?"

"Yes! You look ok, now go! And don't get too slaughtered, I'll come get you at eleven"

"Thanks ma" she said and wove her off.

Turning back she saw Benson still waiting 'how annoying' she thought, she had to snip the tail soon, she didn't want company, especially when the alcohol flowed.

She forced a smile and headed in, at her pass by he fell in next to her, Rebecca drank for two reasons, one she enjoyed it, and two a drunk carnivore is a stupid predator, she didn't want hunters to come for her after accidentally killing a football player, she's been able to keep her secret quite nicely.

"So that your mom?" Benson asked deciding its too quiet despite the babble of parties goer's and loud music from a set up stage.

"Yep, in the flesh"

"She looks just like you"

She sighed and smiled "Its sometimes annoying, do you know how many men wanted my 'Sister's' number?"

Benson laughed "I can see why they would be fooled, she looks your age"

"She carries her age well, I won't lie, hopefully I can look that good on her age as well" she said but saw one side Daniel almost drown himself in a keg of beer, Tiffany chanting on to motivate him.

"Here we go" she said.

"You worried about Tiff?" Benson asked seeing and knowing.

"Yes, she's all about the big popular guy, not even taking into consideration the consequences"

"You want me to go sort Daniel? You know? Shake him up alittle?" He asked.

She thought its probably fine, but her worry for Tiffany was too overwhelming, she was her only friend.

"Can you? Just take him one side and give him a heads up, I'll take Tiffany and warn her"

He nodded and the two went over.

The group still cheered when Rebecca had Tiffany by her shoulders and quickly tucked her behind a trailer.

"Hey bestie!?" She cheerfully said, already the alcohol was having the best of her.

"Listen Tiffany Daniel is a bastard when he gets drunk"

"I know, everyone knows"

Rebecca folded her arms "And?"

"What's to it Becky? Its just a fling?"

"A fling? What if he flings a fist?"

"He won't, he's not that kind of guy"

"Tiff, I saw him once..."

"Relax, I won't get hurt, but thanks for the heads up ok?"

"Y– you're welcome" Rebecca said unsatisfied.

"If you're wondering why I want to be your friend Rebecca, you just made it clear" Tiffany said pointing a finger.

"What?" She asked .

"You care, and I like that about you"

Rebecca smiled and the two embraced.

"See you later ok? Don't dare sneak away or you'll be sorry" Tiffany said walking off.

"Definitely" she answered, but this party now wasn't about some alcohol anymore, Rebecca felt she needed to keep an eye out for her.

Coming around the trailer she saw Benson and Daniel finish speaking then he turned to come back "He said he'll keep a lid on it"

"We'll see, he'll be sorry if he doesn't" she said folding her arms.

The night dragged on and Rebecca made the most of that three hundred dollars, it all went to alcohol, who needs to eat!? She giggled at herself and fell against Benson who held her up.

"Heya, you ok?"

"I'm fine, when are you going to come claim your reward?" She asked pouting and tapping her lips.

"I almost forgot about that!" He said and looked at the group around them, they cheered, those who know her knew the Rebecca 'everyone' can hang with comes out when the kegs start to empty out, he took her around her waist and drew her against himself.

Right here in front of everyone, she didn't care, she wanted a kiss, she wanted some passion!

Benson leaned the puck in, that warmth in his lips spiked her loins, she felt hot suddenly and stupid, maybe she could have waited for them to be alone, but now, she lived in the moment.

"What would they say if we get naked here?" She whispered.

"Not here" he softly said back.

"Then find a secluded spot, I'm turned on"

Benson came from out her neck and smiled to the group "Sorry people, bathroom break"

The lot 'Woe'd' them as the left, getting the idea.

In the back of the locker room the kissing intensified, she had him pinned but he swung her and pinned her back, shirts off first and hands exploring skin, but the more they went, the deeper this got, Rebecca started feeling different urges rise, not just sexual ones.

She drew him down and with a governed quivering jaw she bit him making him flinch "Ow!"

"Told you I bite" She panted working on his pants.

'Stop Rebecca!' She yelled in he mind but her eyes poised on that buckle, vision clouded by fantasy. She's going black widow here for sure! She'll take the sex and the meal! She wanted this!

Her pupils dilated and she stopped, senses heightened she heard his racing heart, saw the illuminated red lines of blood coursing through his blue and red veins, how magnificent, it looked like the aurora lights, stars beautiful, moon high, mother nature's creation, her indication of prey.

"Rebecca?" He asked, her hands against his chest pushing him so he couldn't close the gap between them, why did she hold him back? She had him in her web, she had him trapped inside her fantasy spoiled moment, no one ever escaped her, no one ever remembers, one even died.

She had a wake-up call, this was madness, she was going to, she wanted to! The question was would she have took his blood or pass that and feast off his flesh!?

She drew herself away from him "I, I'm sorry!" She said pacing away but turned to him "I, I'm drunk, I made a mistake"

"Was I the mistake? Or the situation?"

She didn't want to hurt his feelings, or now push him away, meal tickets are hard to find, and she might even have him as an option should she really need it "It was too soon, I'm sorry"

He smiled and picked their shirts up "No problem"

"You're, not angry?"

"No! Of course not! I wasn't even sure if I was ready for it"

She smiled "I want it to be in a bed ok? Not some smelly gym locker room"

He laughed "Thank heavens, as much as they say its a fantasy, its really not all that fantastic in here"

She smiled and tipped onto her toes to give him one more kiss "I'm glad you found me, you're an ok guy Benson"

"And you're much more than I could ever bargain for, so, you surprised me"

She took his hand and they left the gym, the clock struck eleven and her phone rang "Ma?"

"I'm at the gate"

"Be right over"

She looked at Benson "So? See you Monday?"

He let her hand go "Maybe I'll swing by tomorrow? Take you for a drink?"

She nodded "You know where I live right?"

"Tiffany couldn't keep her mouth shut about it, the first red RV in the trailer park?"

"Yup, goodbye Benson" she said and blew him a kiss.
