Adalyn It was a whirlwind of activity, and I was not happy to be up at four a.m., but today was the day of the Hunter's ball and we were all getting everything packed up in the vehicles. Malik Sitting in the car on the way to the castle, Liam and I tried to pass the time with a game of I spy, but that eventually got old, and I was left in my thoughts. I've lived a very long life but alone. My parents abandoned me when I was just a child. I lived on the streets for a while until some other demons found me and took me to Beherit. Rainn When Liam burst through the ballroom doors with Ard'al and Malik behind him, all hell broke loose. Malik was holding a frail looking woman with tears running down his face. Adalyn When I woke up, I had a horrible headache and was pinned on the bed. I felt the warmth and knew that it was Rainn. Then the memories hit me, I panicked. Adalyn We packed up all our things, said our goodbyes to all our new friends and headed for our cars. Ard’al warned us that Oliver had contacted him and that they had tracked Tobias and Octavia to Seattle. “What do you want to bet that they are running to Typhon”, Ezra said. “He will die for what he did to Delilah”, Malik growled. “Ok big boy, calm down. Rainn I sat at my desk with my head in my hands. My office was trashed, my desk now broken in half. It’s been two weeks since Adalyn and Elodie went missing. That night I woke up out of a deep sleep with a feeling of dread in my stomach. I reached over but Addie was not in bed, her side was cold. I looked at the clock and it said 3:30 a.m. I got out of bed, threw a t-shirt and shorts on, and headed to look for her. She wasn’t in the bathroom, so I went downstairs next.
