Eighty Seven.

Lana’s POV

“Don’t do this Kendra. I will never be the face of the Blood Pack. No matter what, I would rather be dead.” The light spirals in her hand. The light reflecting in her brown eyes.

“Hmm. Abby did say as much. Do you believe that we will just let you go. Lana, I have more power than you will ever know. You can’t fight me and win. You will do what I say.”

“I didn’t say I would fight you. I’m just saying that I won’t help you. Maybe if you had been a better mother I would be more inclined to help you.”

“You are not very respectful.” She snarls at me. Her top lip curled up.

“I’m respectful of those that deserve it. Those that have earned it. You threw me away like I was nothing. How would you like it if I did it to you?” I was trying to buy myself sometime while I figured something out. But the truth was I was outnumbered and outpowered. I couldn’t shift without dying. I was unable to link Logan or Blake. I was as weak as a human.
