Georgia was staring at me. I tried really hard not to notice, but it was pretty much impossible. Her eyes followed me everywhere I went. She was so busy watching me that she almost caught the meatballs she was making on fire (her idea of a great dinner was spaghetti and meatballs made from scratch).

That aside, her constant gaze was making me unconmfortable. Even while we were eating dinner she was staring and she missed her mouth at least five times, leaving a trail of tomato sauce down her chin, which she didn't wipe away in time, so it left a stain on her pale skin.

I ate with my head down, so I didn't have to make eye contact with her. Why was she acting so weird? Was it because I told her about my family? If I'd known she was going to react like this, I wouldn't have mentioned it.

Her change in demeanor and attitude was so drastic and sudden it creeped me out. Did she really feel that badly for treating me the way she had been? I appreciated it, but maybe she was taking it
