CHAPTER 64: A Hope

IVORY'S P.O.V

I woke up and felt the stingy pain in my head, a liquid gushing down my face. When I opened my eyes, I saw a room, a small one full of different old and dirty things, the lights coming from the small bulb was the only thing lighting up the whole place. I bit my lips as I felt my neck crunches, as if it was in that position for a long time. I can inhale the dust from the bed where I am right now, making me cough. I guess this is a basement. I sighed, my eyes were hunting for something or someone perhaps from this place. I felt relieved when I saw him, that little kid. He has some bruises. Those people hurt him when he tried to get out of their grip, but he is still alive as I can feel his heavy breaths. He was just a kid yet experiencing this kind of situation.

I forced myself to get up but I felt something in my feet, damn. I am being tied with ropes, both of my feet and hands. I went back to the dirty bed and laid down, closing my eyes to think of a way out. I don't kno
