Telling Zach everything, well, almost everything, I could see that it was a lot for him to process. I was sure it was a lot for anyone to process. I knew it was for me. Even now, I was still trying to wrap my head around things.

I couldn’t tell him all the details that I still didn’t know that Stryker was privy to, nor could I explain my own thoughts on the matter. The only thing I could do was tell him all the details, or rather the events that led up to this moment.

I included filling him in on what happened before I ran away. He knew most of my history already, but around the time I first ran away, I had only been focused on finding out I was adopted, not the conversation that happened prior.
