“You look beautiful, princess,” Mikhail whispers in my ears as we sway to the music. I hold tightly to his shoulders and close my eyes as he places kisses across my neck and shoulder. I can’t believe it’s prom night and that I’m in my boyfriend’s arms.
So many things have changed for me over the past year. Nine months ago, I was just a lonely girl with a messed up family who dreamt of a beautiful angel loving me.
