Chapter eighty four

Claire could hardly believe what she was hearing. Does it mean their trip had been wasted? She doubted it.

If it turns out to be true? She would be filled with guilt at what she did to Nicklaus. It was bad enough that she didn't tell Alexander of her plans but going against Mia and Nicklaus for nothing was leaving a bad taste in her mouth.

The woman who had said it shrugged her shoulders at their various expressions. It was really hard to believe their expression.

Claire looked at the room which was assigned to her and Abigail. Khloe had requested her room. But that wasn't entirely the reason they weren't sharing a room.

The room she was given was a very small room that could hardly contain one person. Abigail had refused to let her have a room of her own for fear of Kendrick doing something sinister. Claire could not argue with her on that. She was glad Abigail had suggested something like that.
