Charlie greeted Elora in the meeting room with a bright smile on his face.

“My best creative director!” he shouted with his arms open as if to hug Elora.

Elora jerked her head back and furrowed her brows. “You’re not usually like this,” said Elora. She didn’t accept Charlie’s intention to hug her. Elora pulled up a chair next to Charlie and sat there.

Charlie cleared his throat, then inched closer. “Don’t embarrass me in front of the clients,” he whispered in Elora’s ear.

Elora glanced around. There were only the two of them and a few people from other departments. “I’m not humiliating you. The clients haven’t arrived yet, have they?”
