Then I moved my hand around my bed and grabbed my shorts lying just below my waist before raising myself up to stand on the floor. I wore my shorts hastily and took a light blue polo to wear as I walked towards my room door; closing it gently behind me as i rushed for my mom's room.

I had bearely reached her room when I noticed her coming out hastily; walking towards my direction before I finally slowed my pace.

"I've dropped the rent money in the second drawer compartment beside my bed" she said hastily in a hushed voice as she came closer. "Give it to the landlord whenever he comes around" she concluded instructively before walking past me towards the palour door.

"Okay mom" I said obediently with a nod as I turned to watch her leave. "Have a nice day mom!" I blurted out heartily before turning to my right.
