17: LAST WORDS

The judgment made me uncertain about so many things especially the Omega clan I was about to leave behind. I felt a surge of emotions welling up inside me, threatening to overwhelm my senses.

Tears stung at my eyes, hot and bitter, as I struggled to contain the flood of despair threatening to consume me whole.

Injustice. The word echoed in my mind like a cruel event, a reminder of the betrayal and deceit that had brought me to this moment.

How could they accuse me of crimes I did not commit? How could they cast me out, condemn me to a fate worse than death, without so much as a fair trial? I have no clan and I have no pack.

At my age, I felt I was too young to start all over and I was sure in this state the forest would consume me.
