Chapter Sixty nine

Nicole's scream of frustration echoed in the hospital and Marcella quickly admonished her to get hold of her emotions, "I simply can't stand her" she hissed and Marcella looked thoughtful.

"Don't worry, she should gloat about being Derek's wife now but that table will change soon, I can't stand her either" Marcella's gaze looked furious as she thought on how Kathleen had always ruined her plans, she was like a bad headache that wouldn't go away, she understood how Nicole was feeling right now because she felt the exact same way but now wasn't the right time to strike, she glanced at Nicole, "how's Kyle? Did you leave him alone?"

Nicole shook her head, still perturbed at Kathleen's arrogance, "I hired a nanny to take care of him, he's such a handful"

Marcella gazed around and lowered her voice to a whisper, "and how's Stefan, I hope he's keeping his distance for now"

"I haven't seen him for some days, so I believe he had finally decided to keep his distance"
