That was Kyle!

I jerked around to see Sheri crashing hard onto the ground. Her chest was covered in red, and even the corner of her mouth was dripping blood.

She struggled and tried to lift her head before falling back to the ground, losing all strength left in her body.

Finally, her eyelids dropped closed.

I couldn't believe it...

Sheri... was dead!

Kyle fell to his knees. Although I was far from them, I could still sense the pain coursing through his body.

He clutched his chest, cold sweat streaming down his forehead. His wound ripped open, and the blood gradually stained his white shirt.

Kyle's attention was still on Sheri's dead body. Even though he could hardly breath, he was still crawling toward Sheri. There was no way he could fight right now.
