Guilt and Anger

Draven's POV

I was in the back of the car, staring at my laptop which was currently displaying Emma's drawing room. The whole house was silent and there was no visible movement until the bedroom road creaked open.

Emma lurched out of the room with a towel wrapped around her body. She looked dull and lifeless, making her way into the shower.

I shut down the laptop screen and looked away unbothered.

I was in a terrible mood because of what happened but I could not present my temperament to Stella. If she asked what was wrong, I wouldn't be able to lie and another fight was the last thing I wanted at this moment.

Robin drove me home and dropped me off, he suggested walking me in but I asked him to get back home as it was already late.

I noticed that the light in my room was still bright, indicating that Stella had not gone to sleep and was waiting for me. I took in a deep breath and walked in.
