Chapter eighteen: What if we can't do it?

The next morning Evangel woke up in a normal mood, not happy, not sad. Her deposition this morning was her normal morning attitude. She scrubbed her eyes gently as she sat up on her bed. For a brief suspended moment in the universe her mind was clear without the initial worries, and undecided decisions she went to bed with, and then they all came flooding back tilting her mood to one of agitation and restlessness. A weary sigh left her lips in a slow languorous manner as her mind reminded her of what awaited her on this bright and beautiful new day. To find a girlfriend for her father's dinner before it is six pm today.

The sun didn't mind her worsening mood and continued to glow like the king he is.

Evangel got from the bed and made her way towards the kitchen feeling a little bit drowsy. She needed her morning coffee to really feel awake.
