“So can you get away this weekend?” Levi whispered. “Katherine wants us over for dinner.”

“I don’t think I can, Levi.” I winced.

“Willow, come on, I need you.”

“You should spend time with them on your own, Levi, they’re your family.”

“I know, but I get nervous. I feel safe when you’re there.”

“That’s really sweet, but I really can’t. Maybe it’s time you tell Joy.”

“No! I-I can’t. This is just between you and me.”

“I understand, Levi, but the guy I’m seeing…we have plans.”

“Orlando will understand right?” Levi asked.

“I’m not seeing Orlando.”

“Oh…so this new guy you’re seeing, is it serious?”

“Um…not sure. But I already agreed to do something with him.”

“Not all weekend right?”

“I guess we’re not doing anything solid on Sunday night.” I sighed.
