58. Letting Go

Max POV

After Asher's mom left the house, I decided to tell Tally to go to her room and she obeyed me. 

"Okay, mom but are you sure you're okay?", my daughter asked me about earlier and I told her to come to me.

" Come here, sweetie." I strengthen my arms to hug her. 

"You know that mom is a fighter right? You know that we both survived living together without a man by my side right? Let's just think that I just lost my job again." I said and she laugh at me. 

I feel relieved to see my daughter laughing at me. I am glad that she doesn't take this seriously. At first, I am worried that my daughter will develop an inferiority complex because of the things that happened to us but today, I realized that my daughter was a fighter too like me. 

"See, you're smiling now. Mom, I promise that I will always be by your side in your ups and downs. I love you! Goodnight!", Tally said and kiss me on my cheeks.
