Chapter 40 : Mistake

Until now I can’t get out of my mind what I heard about Reed’s wife and what he answered. What does Reed mean by his answer that his wife is resting? Does it really mean his wife is dead? Then why are they looking for Reed’s wife? Even if I wanted to ask Gaira, about what I wanted to ask about that, I couldn’t do, maybe what she would think.

“Hon?”

Napatingin ako kay Blue nang tawagin ako. 

“Are you all right? I’ve been calling you but you don’t answer.”

“Uhm...” Wala sa sarili tumango ako.  “Maayos ako. Ano nga ulit ang sinasabi mo?”

Tumayo si Blue pagkatapos ay lumapit sa akin saka hinaplos ang noo ko. “You don’t have a fever. Maybe you’re just tired. Rest first, today.”

“Huh? But, what about my work here.”

“I’ll take care of everything, it’s more important you can rest.”
