The untold truth

Ashley was in her little garden, clearing out weed when her cellphone rang. She removed her gloves and picked up the call. It was Quentin's friend, telling her Quentin was in town with his second family.

"Oh I see. Thank you for the information. No I don't intend to do anything. I will be fine. Thanks." Ashley sighed and cut the call.

She stood, staring into space. Tears rushed down her face the best meeting as she couldn't understand why her own husband left her for his second family just after their second daughter had died.

She wept bitterly as she sat on the ground and dialled Gianna's line. It was time for her to come back home. No matter what, she needed to know her father was in Washington DC.
