Chapter 63

Ashley slept at the hospital that night with Jason. In the morning when she woke up, he was still fast asleep. She frowned because she kind of stayed awake the whole night waiting for him to wake up.

She heaved a sigh as the doctor stepped in to check on Jason.

" Why is he taking so long to open his eyes? " She asked with a worried expression.

The doctor went over and examined him before he said " We all have different body systems. He will wake up. His breathing and pulse are normal. Then if you will excuse me." The doctor strutted out of the ward.

Ashley reluctantly slumped to the seat near the bed.

She bent her head and held his hands "Please wake up already. I miss you so much " She cried out.

" I won't " Jason's voice came through as he winked at her, lifting himself from the bed.

"Hey! " she hurriedly rose up and gave him a subtle whack on his hands.

"That hurts! " Jason cried out as she quickly embraced him. She held him so tightly out of joy. He could barely breathe. She
