I watch them run off with my brother as I stand there crying. I listen as Linda screams and beats on the door and I want to kill her.

"Kill everyone that breached",I send through the mind link to our pack. I run for the panel needing to see Mia and tell her about Derek.

Getting to her panic room I hear her sobbing and run in after putting in the code.

"Hunter, she sobs, How bad is it?",I sigh.

"Two to the chest honey, her legs buckle and I catch her sitting her down as their pups crawl on her lap or try to, I'm heading back but he is in surgery and I gave orders to kill Linda and her followers ",she sniffles.

"Please let me come with, she begs, I need to be there",I know but everyone still thinks she is dead.

"I promised him you would stay put honey". A lie but she needs to stay here. "when I can I will sneak you to him but for now stay with your pups". She sobs as a few vampire comes in stating Lucas ordered them to protect her. The pups look at them amazed.

"Be careful
