Isadora's POV:

I discreetly parked the car in the woods and approached Leonidas's castle on foot. Chaos unfolded outside, a spectacle drawing a crowd. Covering my face with a scarf, I blended in with the onlookers, eager to unravel the unfolding events.

I tapped the shoulder of a tall lycan standing beside me and asked, "What's going on up there?" He, being one of the few lycans built like giants, easily saw everything.

He turned to me, a look of disbelief in his eyes, "The king has lost his mind. He's dancing naked, rolling on the floor like an earthworm, this is unbelievable ."

My jaw dropped at the absurdity. A strange mix of satisfaction and shock settled in; a grin formed on my lips. I needed to see with my own eyes, I couldn't believe what I just heard.

As I took a step forward for a closer look, the tall lycan gripped my shoulder, questioning the reason for my covered face. My heartbeat quickened, and I held my breath, scrambling for a convincing lie.

"It's the dust," I blurted
