Chapter 11: You're My Angel

Henry’s POV.

I walk into my company, head straight to the elevator, and make my way up to my office room. I chuckle as I think about Victor's plot involving Sarah. That fucking dumbass is so naive when he thinks Sarah would do anything to harm me. I bet Sarah will be here with me soon, and I'm ready to meet my lovely maid.

I pick up the phone and call Daniel.

"Hey, Henry," Daniel says as he answers the phone.

"How is Rachel doing?" "Has she been tortured and interrogated enough?" I ask.

"Damn it!" Daniel curses angrily. "She escaped."

"What?"

"Damn it," Daniel says again. "She escaped from custody. We have no idea how she did it, but she is on the run."

My brow furrows, my mind racing with ideas. Rachel's escape could make things more difficult for me. She'd return with Victor, and she'd be the one who knew the most about our inner workings. Victor intends to use her as a powerful weapon.
