Chapter 47

He stared at me for a minute, as if he didn’t believe that I had actually accepted his offer. I couldn’t believe what I’d done either, but I didn’t want to die at sixteen years of age. I had plans for the future and I wasn’t going to let this bastard ruin them for me. I knew that I was betraying myself for willingly giving him my body for a rather long period of time, but it was either this or death I wasn’t keen on the latter.

“No need to bully yourself, you know,” he said and I looked up at him, having no idea what he was talking about. “Every girl I have had accepted their fate sooner or later and you will not be the mark on my clean record.
