"You're welcome," Ivy said to Charles as they parted ways for the night. "See you tomorrow and goodnight."

When she tried to open the door, Charles stopped her and said, "Hold on, what about my good night kiss?" She smiled shyly and turned to kiss him, but he cupped her face and passionately kissed her. After a while, he let her go and said, "I'll help you take the gifts inside."

"There's no need for you to do that," Ivy refused, but he insisted. "I want to help you take the gifts inside."

Eventually, Ivy gave in. Charles carried all the bags, and together they walked into the palace. He escorted her to her room, placed the gifts inside, and reminded her to get her hair done early tomorrow. "I'll really love to see it when I come to pick you up," he said.

Ivy nodded and said, "Goodbye, Charles."

As she watched him leave, Ivy smiled in contentment and looked at the card he had given her.
