**Ryan**I hesitated for a moment before placing my hand on the divine orb, my mind flashing back to the moment when I had done the same with my Evie. I shook off the memory and looked at the orb. As instructed, I stated my name and rank as I sought the Goddess’s blessing. Following me, Freya did the same, placing her hand on top of mine. Hearing the shouts of the warriors, I hesitated for a moment, torn between trying to find Evie and fighting the enemies.
