Chapter 136: Uncertainty

Lorcan’s gaze is fixated on Raven as he waited for what the Pack doctor is going to say.

He pursed his lips and brought his hands together impatiently as he anxiously waited for the pack doctor’s assessment of her health.

Raven is quiet, her breathing is deep and steady as the Pack doctor took a look of the bruises that covered her entire body. He also checked her vitals and did some tests to see if she’s recovering normally.

The silence in the room was palpable as they awaited what the Pack Doctor is going to say. Their feelings also did not get any better, seeing the Pack doctor’s stoic expression and the frequent twitch of his eyebrows sent them on edge.

“How is your wolf doing lately?” The Pack doctor asks, breaking the silence.

It‘s nice that Lorcan and Raven slowly getting along.But this Lorcan character is simply horrible.He didn’t change because of the fact how he treated Raven,he only changed because how wrong he treated Celia. I don’t know,regrets and common senses concerning feelings and really making up are missing.

Something is fishy about his sudden turn around on caring about Raven. I think he's been under a spell to love Celia. If he wasn't, and did this because he really loved Celia, who would want him after all the crap he pulled? How could Raven love or trust him? All he's ever done is be crappy to her.

He has to start proving himself.. fight Raven on not giving blood… maybe time for doctor to fess up that no blood is needed.
