Chapter 37: What will happen to Raven?
Raven’s wolf is fairly average and with the damages her wolf suffered recently because of Lorcan’s rejection, Raven doesn’t know how much her wolf could hold out.
Raven hasn’t yet fully recovered from her injury. Until now, her weak wolf is still recuperating. She couldn’t even shift yet.
There’s just no way that Raven would accept the punishment so easily. Especially if it would affect her wolf’s health.
“It’s only Celia’s words against mine. How could you hold out charges against me without even properly investigating the matter?” Raven spoke up defiantly with pale lips as she shivered under the cold.
Even though Raven is weak and completely drenched wet, she is still able to defend herself with a strong voice.
As an orphan, Raven learned independence in a hard way. She survived all by herself which is why she valued her life so much and why she could easily speak up for herself.
