Chapter 49: Raven tried to escape the trial!

Celia had a suppressed sadness in her when she appeared at Raven’s trial. She even looked like she lack sleep from last night. Her face looked like she was overcome by distress. Sadness is written all over her face as if she did not like the result of this trial.

Of course this was all just Celia’s act to fool the public once again. She is playing the role of a worried and forgiving best friend, who despite all the malicious things that her friend had done to her, she still chose to forgive her.

She is acting like she doesn’t want Raven to be punished despite the fact that she is being punished because she attempted to kill her.

She is playing that nice act again that had fooled everyone. No wonder why she is popular for her benevolence. Playing a nice act suits her so well, because she is nowhere near nice. She could only act her kindness.

Lorcan and Celia arrived at the trial earlier than anyone else. They must be so excited to start the trial and watch Raven get punished.
