Chapter Eighteen

I had stripped Andrew’s house of all the contents and had given the lair members free access to whatever they wanted to take. The only furniture kept were the filing cabinets with all the lair and business records in them. Andrew's personal records had been moved to the master bedroom.

At least I had my own bed in the master bedroom on the third floor because I simply hadn't had one moment to myself to actually go and buy any other furniture. Link and I were busy assessing the lair members and he had made a list for me so that I knew who the top ranking members were so I could schedule meetings to meet everyone.

“Come on Ryder, it’s one party,” Link said as we sat on camping chairs in the living room having a drink.

“We have shit to do Link,” I said to him.

“True, we have shit to do tomorrow but now I’m going to pull rank and say we’re going to this party,” he said as he emptied his glass.

“You’re going to pull rank on me?” I laughed.
