63: Love in the broad daylight

Aileen woke up to a strand of hair tickling her nose hole. She glanced at the guy sleeping soundly with his head resting near her chest. She sighed and recalled how hard she fought not to fall into temptation. And obviously, she failed.

She recalled how his whimpering face had melted her heart. He looked like a puppy asking if her owner does not love him anymore.

Aileen sniffed and smelled a fragrance of aloe vera on his excellency's hair. She brushed her fingers on his hair and asked, "Shaun, are you awake?"

She jolted when Viishaun grabbed her hand and placed it on his cheek.

"What did I tell you about calling that bastard's name in front of me?"

"I'm sorry. It's just that I was checking if you're still under the spell."

"I hate it when you keep calling his name instead of mine."
