"Mom and dad invited us tomorrow for dinner. Be ready by six. Emerald you too, I'm not going to leave you alone in this flat." He said unyielded and closed the door behind, calling out 'sweet dreams' to both of them. 

Charlotte was very anxious about the dinner invitation and she doubts Ian already had an idea about it. Therefore before she could alter her program he had already left her doorstep. 

Charlotte was going to go to the Walkharts home for the first time. She had no idea about the way of life of the rich and was apprehensive about their aristocratic lifestyle. Since the time she knew about her existence, Charlotte saw her mother struggle for their three meals. She  prays to God that the Walkharts are kind-hearted and humble people.<
