"Ana, I know, and it doesn't make me proud. It's better for you to recover, and then I'll be able to take you there," I said as I left the room without looking back, afraid I wouldn't be able to contain myself.

"You're the cause of all my miseries, Alpha. I hope one day you can repay all the harm you've done to me and my children. I hate you with all my being," Ana cried bitterly, sliding down the wall that was helping her stay on her feet.

A strong pain struck my chest before I reached Esme. "What brings you here?" she asked.

"It's not your daughters. They continue in a deep slumber, and it seems they don't want to wake up."

"Then?"

"I discovered who is behind all the incidents, and it won't be easy to defeat them."

Esme spoke seriously, her once cheerful smile completely vanished. Her words made me realize that this enemy is equal or even stronger than me. Who could it be?
